My approach to coaching

My approach to coaching is about helping you to find your way through difficulties or confusion, to achieve what you want.   Coaching is a conversation about you as an individual, what you want and ways of achieving it.  I draw on many years’ experience of working with others and management, leadership and building successful teams, as well as professional training and study of psychology and coaching to help you find your way forward.

My inspiration to become a coach

I have always been interested in how people develop and achieve their full potential. How we think about ourselves and our challenges can be the key to successful change. I believe that having the right conversation with a trained coach can be the best way to work through issues, gain clarity of purpose, get better at what we want to do and make progress towards whatever we want to achieve.

How I deliver coaching

Face to face meetings near Sheffield city centre or at your work premises.  On line by Skype or telephone.

I have very varied experience of managing people and organisations.  I have also undertaken study and professional training over many years in psychology, coaching and mentoring.  My qualifications include:

I offer an initial chat of up to half an hour free of charge so that we can decide if this coaching is the right course for you.

A first session will last up to an hour and a half and subsequent meetings between one hour and an hour and a half.  They take place when it is most suitable for you, typically once per month but sometimes more depending on what you want. It is not necessary to commit to a given number of sessions: usually there is substantial progress after between three and five sessions.

Coaching sessions are £60 per hour.
