Counselling: Adults, Couples, Adolescents & Children
"Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing." We work with people who broadly speaking feel 'stuck' with feelings, moods, behaviours or situations which they want to discuss and change. Our role is to support you - this means different things to different people and will very much depend on how you feel and how much change you require. Some clients want to talk, some want to be challenged, others want to fundamentally change their lives. Our aim is to tune into your needs, help you to develop your understanding of yourself and support you in taking any steps you choose to move forward.
Client feedback is included in all of our profiles - we hope this will give you a flavour of who we are, how we work and how effective counselling can be. Our Counselling Client Survey showed that 98% of clients reported "a significant positive effect" or "a positive effect" over time.
